With over 25 years experience specialising in the organisation, project management and delivery of education and community projects. Big-picture thinker who seeks to understand client needs to manage and deliver best results. Possesses expertise concerning design processes and legislation for schools. Significantly connected to an industry network of design teams, project managers and contractors. Organised and focussed to achieve goals within set budgets and schedules. Established RIBA Client Adviser and chartered architect.


My role as an architect includes working in both the private and public sector designing projects and advising (as an RIBA Client Adviser) clients on educational, community, restoration and public building projects both in the UK and abroad.

My design consultancy gives advice on a number of projects including education and community . This includes technical and design management advice from the earliest stages in a project through to completion and sitting on various design review panels to ensure design quality is achieved.

My expertise comprises: organisation and design management of large projects, contractor and client side briefing, site based design management, design review work, knowledge of school design and processes and a network database within the industry.

My portfolio includes design on individual and group projects on both contractor and client side, preparing reference schemes, as local authority education client design adviser, working with contractor bidders on the PFI process, consultant to the DfE on the academies programme, and as design manager with PfS delivering the BSF(Building Schools for the Future) programme supporting local authorities in the development of their education design vision.
